The director follows the tracks left by the photos of Gotthard Schuh ranging from the Ticino region of Malcantone - which the photographer immortalised on his Lambretta - to Indonesia, islands of the Gods, which have made him famous. With the photos in his hand, the filmmaker travels to and revisits the places and people photographed by Schuh. The contrasts enable the spectator to discover above all the little known and quasi ethnographic photos taken by the artist in Ticino and Bali.
