Inspired by true events, Pihu is an emotionally riveting thriller. Perplexed, but not too bothered, the little girl embarks on an unforeseen quest to make it through the day. She is a curious little girl and she’s all on her own. As she tries to satiate her hunger and keep herself entertained while making futile attempts to grab her mother’s attention, we are confronted with an uncomfortable truth. A truth that goes on to reflect the stark realities of urban Indian family life.
